Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Opera One LLC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit claudeguide.co or purchase our products (the "Service"). We are the data controller of the personal data you provide through the Service.
1. Data we collect
- Identity & contact data: name, email address, billing address.
- Order data: products purchased, order number, transaction amount.
- Payment data: processed by Shopify Payments and/or Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, referring URL.
- Communications: any messages you send us by email or via support forms.
2. How we use your data
- To process orders and deliver the Digital Content you purchase;
- To provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
- To send transactional emails (receipts, refund confirmations, important updates);
- To prevent fraud and maintain the security of the Service;
- To comply with legal, accounting, and tax obligations;
- With your consent, to send occasional product updates or marketing emails — you can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Legal bases (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or UK we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to fulfill your order), legal obligation (tax and accounting records), legitimate interest (security, fraud prevention, service improvement) and consent (marketing emails, non-essential cookies).
4. Sharing your data
We share personal data only with service providers that help us operate, including:
- Shopify Inc. — e-commerce platform and order processing;
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing;
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, CDN, and security;
- Email & analytics providers — to send receipts and understand aggregate site usage.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
5. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our service providers may process data in the U.S. and other countries. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect data transferred outside the EEA/UK.
6. Data retention
We keep order and tax records for the period required by applicable law (typically 7 years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Support correspondence is retained for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights email operaonellc@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of "sales" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies required for the cart and checkout to function, and limited analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the Service may not work correctly.
9. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures (TLS encryption, access controls, vetted vendors) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
